These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Yuko application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by any additional policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
By continuing to use Yuko after any update to these Terms becomes effective, you acknowledge and accept the revised version. If you use the Service on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that person or entity to these Terms.
The Service may offer coins or similar virtual currency through Apple in-app purchase mechanisms. Coins are a limited, non-transferable, revocable, consumable virtual item used only within Yuko and have no real-world monetary value.
Coins cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred outside the Service, or exchanged for any legal tender, property, or other goods or services outside Yuko. Except where required by applicable law or Apple’s policies, all purchases are final and non-refundable. If you delete the app, lose access to your account or device, or terminate use of the Service, any unused coins may be lost without compensation.
Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Service for lawful, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
You may use Yuko to record meals, view history, review summaries, manage drinking progress, and access related features made available in the app. No ownership interest in the Service or any part of it is transferred to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved by us and our licensors.
You may submit, upload, store, or otherwise provide content through the Service, including meal notes, photos, feedback, and other materials you choose to enter (“User Content”). As between you and us, you retain ownership of your User Content to the extent permitted by law.
You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, and otherwise use your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the Service, including generating your personal records, summaries, and history views. This license is limited to the purposes of the Service and does not mean we claim ownership of your content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights necessary to provide User Content and for any consequences arising from that content.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yuko, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; (c) your User Content; or (d) your infringement or alleged infringement of any third-party rights.
We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim.
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your expectations, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any data, summaries, or results generated by the Service will be complete or correct.
Yuko is a lightweight meal-balance diary and food-tracking tool designed to help users keep a calm, low-pressure record of daily eating habits. The app is centered on personal logging rather than calorie counting or medical analysis. Users may create records for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snack, select food groups, note portion size by fist count, add fullness, meal scene, water intake, comments, and optional meal photos, and then review their own saved history over time.
The Service includes a Today view for daily status, meal slots, hydration progress, quick water actions, and recent entries; a Log workspace for creating or editing meal records and saving simple reminder rhythm settings; a Progress area that turns saved entries into weekly statistics, a balance calendar, and a historical gallery; and a Settings area for coin purchases, feedback, policy pages, sign-out, and local reset functions. Certain features may require or consume coins, and the rules for those features are disclosed inside the app.
Yuko is not a medical service, nutrition prescription tool, calorie-precision engine, AI food scanner, chat companion, or social community platform. The app is intended to help users organize their own real records, view trends, and revisit prior entries in a clear and practical format.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yuko and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
To the extent any liability is not lawfully disclaimed, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the relevant feature or service giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law, whichever is less.
Any summaries, visualizations, balances, streak notes, suggestions, or other automated outputs presented by the Service are generated from data available in the app and are provided for informational and organizational purposes only. They are not guaranteed to be complete, accurate, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.
You acknowledge that results may depend on the quality and completeness of the information you enter, and that you use any such outputs at your own risk. The Service does not provide medical, dietary, or clinical advice, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for professional guidance.
You must be at least 17 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction to accept these Terms and use the Service without parental consent, whichever is greater. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a minor or another person who cannot legally agree to these Terms, you represent that you have authority to do so and that you will remain responsible for all use of the Service under your supervision.
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free from bugs, defects, or errors. Features may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, device limitations, third-party service issues, or other reasons beyond our control.
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you except where applicable law requires otherwise.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any information and content you provide through the Service. This includes ensuring that meal notes, photographs, feedback, and any other submissions do not infringe third-party rights, violate any law, or contain harmful, misleading, or unauthorized material.
You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any device access controls you use to protect the Service and for all activity associated with your use of the Service. You should back up any important information you wish to retain, as availability and local storage behavior may change over time.
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or business needs. When we do, we will update the effective date or otherwise provide notice as appropriate.
Your continued access to or use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason permitted by law, including if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, or used the Service in an unauthorized manner.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination or discontinuation of the Service may result in loss of access to features, content, saved state, or virtual items, subject to applicable law and any app-store requirements.
You agree not to misuse the Service or help others do so. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: using the Service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or fraudulent purposes; interfering with security, integrity, or performance; attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive source code, models, or underlying algorithms except where permitted by law; using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated means to access the Service; and uploading malware, spam, or other harmful code.
You may not impersonate others, violate privacy rights, infringe intellectual property rights, circumvent feature limits, manipulate purchase or coin systems, or attempt to access accounts, content, or systems without authorization.
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, interfaces, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license or right is granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, publicly display, create derivative works from, or exploit any part of the Service unless we have given you prior written permission or such use is allowed by applicable law. Any feedback you submit may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to the Service will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection or other non-waivable laws provide otherwise.
Any rights or remedies available to you may vary depending on your jurisdiction, and nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any non-waivable statutory rights that apply to you under applicable law.

If the Service allows you to post, submit, display, or otherwise make content available to others, you remain solely responsible for that content and for the consequences of sharing it. You represent that you have all rights needed to post the content and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, lawful, and appropriate for the Service.
You must not post content that is illegal, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, violent, threatening, invasive of privacy, infringing, misleading, or otherwise harmful. Prohibited UGC also includes spam, scams, impersonation, doxxing, child sexual abuse material, encouragement of self-harm, extremist propaganda, or content that violates any third-party rights or platform rules.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, monitor, moderate, remove, restrict, label, or refuse any UGC at our discretion, with or without notice, and to take action against accounts or content that we believe violate these Terms, applicable law, or the safety and integrity of the Service. We may also preserve and disclose content or account information where required by law or to protect users, the Service, or third parties.
If you encounter content that you believe violates these Terms, you may report it through the in-app feedback or support tools, where available, or by using the reporting function provided in the Service. We may investigate reports, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome or response time.
